guys i put final fantasy 14 free companies as a listed option here, clearly this is a shitpost
@ariadne Discord for rapid-fire; GitHub for broader and more measured feedback / iteration. We (hashcat) often start a GitHub issue/discussion after something that's been flying around fast on Discord starts to solidify.
@tychotithonus but how does ff14 work into this
@ariadne I will never vote FF14 for anything, no matter how shitpostey. FF14 has ripped everything from FF11 which was an awesome MMO that Square left to rot while funneling all their resources to the shitty little brother they wanted so badly to succeed.
To this day, despite everything, FF11 is still a better MMO.
Fuck FF14 and the horse it rode in on.
@ariadne It's crucial for the discussions to be publicly accessible and indexed by search engines.
@ariadne a minecraft server. if you're online with the person you want to discuss something with, you can use the chatbox. if they're offline, you can place signs in front of their base. or a book and quill if you have a lot to say.
@ariadne is "torches and pitchforks" a valid option? The listed tools all miss a feature or two
@ariadne wait for toxic community to find me because I mentioned their project name
@ariadne Mastodon, plenty of replyguys to give you unsolicited project feedback.
@ariadne Had I made the poll choices, they would look like this:
1. email
2. irc
3. Discourse/PHPBB/Flarum
4. xmpp/Conversations/Gajim
5. matrix/FluffyChat/Element
6. DeltaChat
7. Zulip
8. ForgeJo/Codeberg
@ariadne Where's the RDR2 Campfire option?

@ariadne do you have an option that's more proprietary and locked down than ff14?
@overchoice umm, is world of warcraft still a thing?
